Beats & arrangement
Make beats online in a free browser DAW
MyDawsons gives you an MPC-style 8-pad drum grid, click-to-place pattern tracks, preset patterns, and an in-house producer that builds a genre-structured arrangement around a recording — all in the free browser DAW.
Beat-building tools in the browser
- 8-pad drum grid (kick, snare, clap, hats, and more) with computer-key triggers.
- Step-grid pattern editor for drums and melodic families, with starter and blank instrument tracks.
- Preset patterns you can drop into the timeline and edit.
- Per-track loop, pitch, reverb, and delay sends on the mixer.
In-house producer
Record a hook, pick a genre (Pop, Hip-Hop, House, Jazz, Holiday, Blues), and generate a ~2-minute arrangement with real song-form sections. Output lands as ordinary editable tracks — drums, bass, chords, and your looped recording — not a locked render.
Learn the layers
Use Discover genres to study how songs are layered, then open an original Dawsons example arrangement in the DAW.
Common questions
Do I need an account to make beats on MyDawsons?
No. Open mydawsons.com and use the browser DAW without signing up.
Is the in-house producer a cloud AI model?
No. It is a rule-based arranger using genre song forms and diatonic progressions in your chosen key. Heavy generative models, when used, are part of the local desktop direction — not required for this browser feature.
Can I save my beat?
Yes. The browser DAW supports saving and loading projects in the browser, plus share/copy link flows for a song state.
